Stay by Alesia Cara is one of my favorite songs that I listen to because of its beat and lyrics. I think that this song is phenomenal. When ever I start to listen to it I start to sing along and get lost in the song because it's a good one. I found out about the song because my friend suggested it to me and I decided to listen to it and it was really really good. I thought I wasn't going to like it because the songs that she tells me to listen to I usually don't like but she does. So when she showed me this song I just kept on listening to it non stop.

Getting my retainers

This Tuesday after school I went to the dentist to get my retainers. I was apprehensive because I didn't know if they would hurt. When I got to the dentist I went on my phone to calm down my nerves so that when they called me I wouldn't be so nervous. When I went into the room and sat down the dentist told me that it wouldn't hurt because they just put on a little button and then they push the retainers on. The first day I had them on it was not fun because they hurt and I wasn't used to having them on. But now I'm used to them and they don't bother or hurt me as much as they did before.

Meeting my big family from Mexico

When I went to visit Mexico last year I met my big family and let me just say there were many people I met and very few names I learned. While I was in Mexico I mostly just stayed at my grandmas house from my moms side. I liked her house because it was clean and there was so much room that there was a little living room upstairs. I liked it over there because there wasn't so many cars and there weren't many lights it was also quiet and peaceful at night. While I was at my grandmas house I had to be very organized with the room I was staying in and had to make sure I didn't have a mess. I actually do miss Mexico because it was peaceful and the air just smelled so different then it does here. When I go back next summer I will try and talk more with my family because the first time I went I didn't talk much with my family because I didn't really know them.

The Hunger Games

The Hunger Games is about kids from different districts getting picked to go into a battle between each one and there could only be one winner. The capital chooses one girl and one boy from each district to participate in the fight to death. The book pretty much focuses on one girl from district twelve who is Katniss Everdeen. She knew how to hunt with a bow that she hide in the forest that was on the other side of the fence that her district was trapped in. Once she's in the Games the capital decides to let two young ones live but they had to be from the same district so Katniss has to find Peta that is the boy that was chosen from her distict.

I think people should read this book because it has a lot of action and Katniss was always distinguished when the capital saw her because she didn't show any kind of emotion in the beginning and she made sure that the capital saw her as a strong independent woman who can take care of herself in the fight.

An Ending Means A New Beginning

When something ends its a new beginning to your next adventure. For me once I finish Middle School it would end another school year but once I enter high school it's a new beginning to a different life experience. Everything has an end but it's also a beginning to a new adventure in your life. I want to trace my thought of going to college once I finish high school which would be an end and a beginning for any students that are 8th grades right now,

BabySitting Little Devils

On Saturday's I take care of my two little cousins who are two boys the oldest is 7 years old and his brother is 2 years old. They are like little devils just running around the house making a mess.The 2 year old one is hyperactive when they drop them off. He runs across the kitchen and then back to the living room then back to the kitchen he just goes back and forth most of the time. Sometimes they are calm but it's rare to see them calm because they usually go play and they create a big mess in the living room which I have to pick up. I get payed $30 for taking care of them which is sometimes worth it taking care of them. They are fun to play with at times but sometimes they are just too happy or excited. At the end of the day they make me happy and excited for next Saturday.

Meeting my crazy, funny, nice friends

When I first came to Heritage Middle School I didn't know anyone besides the kids who went to my school. I felt apprehensive because I had to meet new people and I am very shy and don't like to talk to people I don't really know. After a while people started to talk to me and i met new people. I met two girls who were around my height so I didn't really feel like a giant because I was taller than most of the sixth graders. We then started to become more closer and now they are mostly the only ones I hang out with in school and out of school because we just connected from the moment we meet each other. Now we are three best friends that can't be separated
