Holocaust movie that made me cry

The movie Life is Beautiful was a phenomenal I suggested it to people who can take things seriously. Life is beautiful is similar to the readings we have read because they both talk about how all the victims were just taken away from their homes and put on trains. The trains would just take them to concentration camps and drop them off there. They were also similar because they both talked about how people were killed in gas chambers where people were sent to "shower." Both the movie and readings talked about how kids were also sent there and then sometimes killed because they couldn't work. The movie and articles and poems talked about how people were just killed for standing up or because they were to weak to work. Some differences were that the father of the little boy in the movie was being positive about it to not show that they were going to be living there to his little son. Another difference was that the poems that we read were based off a kids view while in the movie it was based off of a mans point of view. Also most of the readings didn't really talk about the persons life before they were sent to the concentration camps and the movie told the story of the man.

The difference between the movie Life is Beautiful is that the father is being positive and in the readings the people were being negative about the concentration camps. In the readings they were talking about how sad and terrible it was to be living in the concentration camps. In the movie the father was being positive so that his child wasn't scared. Something similar about the mood was that the father was also scared for his child like in the readings and also in the readings and in the movie it talked about how every time the victims were working they came back tired and hungry. In the movie it showed how the victims in the concentration camps were skinny enough that you could see their bones and in the readings it also talked about how the victims were not feed correctly and how they were able to see their bones because of how skinny they were. Well the point of view in the movie the character cause the movie to be a bit humor because the father was doing funny things such as taking away the hat from the other man. Also by flirting with many women such as a teacher, and faking to be a important person for a school and doing things such as going onto the table and showing his belly button to the students.

The movie showed a beautiful things throughout the film because before they were sent to the concentration camps they began a life married and with a little boy that they had. Also the man (the father) did many things to impress the teacher (the mother) so that he could get her and marry her because he loved her. Also throughout the film the father kept making his son believe they were playing a game which was beautiful because most of the time most kids already knew that they were sent to that place because they were part of one of the victims groups. Most of the movie was making it a beautiful film because it showed the life of a man before he was sent to a concentration camp and then when he was making sure that his son survived and wasn't killed. It was sad at the end of the movie because the father died but he at least made sure that his little boy was able to survive. Another beautiful part in the movie was when the little boy found his mother at the end of the movie.

Swallowing Coins

I will be explicit about what I will be talking about in this blog. When I was younger I used to swallow coins by the heater, I would go behind the couch and sit by the heater and sometimes put the coins into the heater or I would put them in my mouth and swallow them. I have no idea why I would do this but I do remember swallowing many coins even quarters.  My family didn't know until now when I told them last month or so. It was funny to see their reaction because I always thought that they knew but I guess not. I kind of believe that's why I would always be able to swallow my allergy pills when I was smaller. Well now you know something that I used to do when I was smaller.

Propaganda

This poster stood out to me because it says "Mothers! Fight For Your Children!" This poster I believe is trying to convince mothers of Jews to make them hide their children and making them survive. Also to help give their children the rights that the German kids have. I also believe that they are trying to convince women to fight for what they believe will make their children's life better.

Regretting

I would like to summarize what I regretted not doing. I regret not helping my mom with the chores in the house when she got home to help me. She woke up at 4:30am and I woke up later then her and she was tired when she got home when I didn't do anything all day. I regret not helping her because she worked early in the morning and comes home tired, but I never do anything except go to school and come home to eat and do homework.
